Cirque d’Eau Music Festival — 26–28 June 2026

A celebration of music, art, and environmental awareness, Cirque d’Eau brings together international artists and activists to explore the theme of water through sound, story, and action.

Friday, 26 June The festival opens in the Arkadenhof with performances by violinist Julia Smirnowa, cellist Konstantin Manaev, and pianist Philipp Scheucher, featuring works by Beethoven, Clara Schumann, Johanna Doderer, and Shostakovich. British eco‑artist Francesca Busca inaugurates her exhibition, followed by a talk on ocean plastic with David Brown from Project One Wave. The night concert presents mezzo‑soprano Josipa Bainac and premieres by Johanna Doderer, alongside film screenings of Stella Maris and Red & Blue.

Saturday, 27 June Highlights include Water Legends, a reading by author Gottfried Franz Kasparek, a service led by Pater Edmund Tanzer, and an evening of music and dance with MoZuluArt.

Sunday, 28 June The closing matinee See(len)klänge features the Auner Quartett and clarinetist Simon Reitmaier, performing works by Joseph Haydn and Johanna Doderer’s Mattsee and Meditations on the Achensee.
